Summer Football Program
What is the Football Program at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning??
The football program is designed for high school and collegiate athletes who need to get bigger, stronger, faster, and more explosive.
Since I began the program I have trained athletes from Kingwood High, Kingwood Park, Atascocita High, Huffman, and Sheperd.
The football program at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning is a scientifically based athletic training program that uses a progressive system to get your athlete bigger, stronger, faster, and more explosive.
We don’t work in large groups, in fact, I like to keep my groups between 3 and 5 (grouped by age) so each athlete can get some individual attention and I can monitor the QUALITY of training.
We use a blend of powerlifting (squats, bench presses, deadlifts), olympic weightlifting (cleans, snatches), sprints, plyometrics, and strongman events (namely tire flipping and sled dragging) to achieve our goals.
What the Football Program is NOT!
We are NOT a speed camp that scams parents and athletes out of their money each summer!!
These so called “speed camps” group dozens and dozens of kids together and run them around for a few hours each week. They’ll get the kids tired and sweaty but not necessarily bigger, stronger, and faster. There is no scientific approach to training going on at a speed camp…they are money making machines that aren’t giving you much of a return on your investment.
When is the KSC Football Program??
We will begin our sessions the first week of summer and go until the week before school starts. That is usually around 12 weeks of training.
I understand people have vacations, etc planned for the summer so if you can’t make each week or each workout that is fine, I can accomodate your schedule and your payment will be adjusted accordingly.
You can join a group at any point during the summer to begin your workouts. If you miss the Week 1 start date, that doesn’t mean you can’t do the program.
Where is the Program??
We will be training at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning (Woodland Hills Shopping Center) for our strength training work and our speed and conditioning work will take place across the street at Kingwood Middle School (at the track).

Here is me with one of my top athletes, Michael Hamilton. Michael was a football player at Huffman High School but has now committed to play for East Baptist University. Michael is training with me for his second summer in a row in preparation for the upcoming season (click on link….it works).
